hazelnut oil

Hazelnut aka filbert oil is used in cosmetics and skincare for its occlusive, emollient and conditioning properties. Hazelnut oil contains 66-85% oleic acid, 7-25% linoleic acid, 4-9% palmitic acid and 1-6% stearic acid.

If you’re allergic to hazelnuts, it’s probably a good idea to avoid using products with this ingredient, even if it’s been processed or changed from its original form – better safe than sorry!
