hydroxyethylcellulose

Hydroxyethylcellulose is a modified cellulose polymer; used as a gelling and thickening agent. Cellulose is also used in exfoliating scrubs (“peeling gels”) because they’re very gentle exfoliators that react to the oils on your skin.
