Let’s talk about body acne. I have it. I’ve had it since I was a teenager. I’ve never been clear of it without the aid of hormonal birth control which I stopped taking. That said, this is the second body spray I’ve used to combat acne I get on my back and shoulders. I’m soooo happy I found it! It actually works!
I’ve never even heard of this brand but I found it on ebay and because I was so unsatisfied with the Murad body spray I got this for a pretty good price and because it has 10% glycolic and 2% salicylic acid in it. With that combination, I thought, how could it not work? My skin responds very well to both ingredients and I knew it could handle that concentration of acids. I’m so glad I took the chance. It did tingle a bit the first time (as if I was doing a peel) but that went away and I’ve had no side effects.
The only downside is the bottle is smaller than other body sprays (like Murad’s, Neutrogena’s, etc.) so you don’t get as much product and it’s an opaque bottle so I can’t tell when I’ll need to repurchase. The spray itself can spray upside down but it’s not continuous like Murad’s and the mist is very fine so I don’t even need to pat this stuff in. Just two sprays and I’m done. It does smell very strong though, but the scent dissipates. This spray and a combination of BP cream when I need it and I’m totally clear except for the occasional TTOM breakout.
