Ingredient Analysis
1. Acrylamide/Sodium Acryloyldimethyltaurate Copolymer. emulsion stabilizer & hydrophilic thickener
2. cleansing/lathering OR emulsifying agents ( Isohexadecane,Polysorbate 80,Sorbitan Oleate ) depending on the product, this ingredient cleanses; emulsifies; lathers; makes products foamy/creamy & spread better
3. Pancratium Maritimum Extract. skin lightening agent; somewhat anti-fungal (one source)
4. alkyl acrylate crosspolymer ( Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer ) emulsifier that thickens & stabilizes formulas, makes it possible for a product to release the oils in it immediately when rubbing the product into the skin
5. Ppg-12/Smdi Copolymer. This ingredient is a skin conditioning, hair fixing, and film forming emollient; an anti-irritant and stabilizer. It is used to control the release of ingredients like vitamin A and AHAs and to reduce the likelihood of irritation. It will not clog pores.
6. Sodium Metabisulfite. disinfectant, antioxidant (for the formula) and preservative.
