Ingredient Analysis
1. ↑ beta hydroxy acid ( Salicylic Acid ) induces exfoliation in oily areas of skin; oil-soluble so can penetrate pores to exfoliate inside; prevents clogged pores; mildly anti-inflammatory; higher concentrations help fade post-acne marks
3. ↑ Resorcinol. topical disinfectant, can be overly irritating. Not to be confused with phenylethyl resorcinol, hexyl resorcinol and dimethoxytolyl propylresorcinol which are skin lighteners.
4. ↑ Kojic Acid. skin lightener; slows down the production of melanin; effective in treating post-acne marks; antioxidant; antibacterial. May cause allergic dermatitis in some people.
